About Me
I’m Jo, a women’s health coach with a background in clinical psychology, passionate about supporting women to achieve their goals and live their best lives.
My years of experience in psychology, combined with my own lived experience, drive me to help women facing infertility or navigating pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period. I also work with women living with trauma, managing neurodivergence and its challenges, and other physical or mental health issues.
In my current coaching practice, I offer a compassionate, warm, and practical space to move forward with clarity, confidence, and contentment.
“Jo is supportive, compassionate, kind and caring. She has provided a space to talk openly, she has listened at times of need, and has provided gentle reflection and guidance when needed.”
“I found Jo to be knowledgeable,
capable and competent”
“I found Jo to be an excellent communicator. She was very responsive, willing to adapt to do things the way I like, and I found her very pleasant and easy to get along with. ”
Why
Blue Iris?
I choose the name Blue Iris for my coaching practice because of its deep personal significance. After struggling to conceive my child, I turned to hypnotherapy and embraced my IVF journey with a focus on nurturing my mind and body. The results were incredible and I truly believe it was my mindset and the inner work I did during that time that played a pivotal role in achieving what I wanted. This experience inspired me to help others apply similar techniques to their own journeys.
I enjoy planting flowers in the garden, and when a friend once gave me some blue iris to plant in my flower bed in front of the kitchen window. When the flowers bloomed beautifully, I fell in love with them, and upon learning their meaning, I felt a deeper connection.
The blue iris symbolises hope whilst also holding onto faith in the process and trusting your own physiology, which is exactly the mindset I aim to inspire in every woman I work with.
